About this artwork
In my sculpture, I wanted to explore the connection between nature and humanity. Created from bronze, it stands free and bold, a symbol of endurance and the timeless beauty of the human form. The intricate spiral patterns reflect the complexity of our thoughts and emotions embedded in our bodies. This artwork radiates a warm energy that inspires and fills any space with hope and permanence.
Ariadne is a female figure from Greek mythology. She is… the daughter of Queen Pasiphae and King Minos. Ariadne helped her lover Theseus defeat the bloodthirsty Minotaur in the labyrinth. To do this, she spun a mysterious ball of wool. With the help of the red wool thread, the path to the center and the exit of the labyrinth could be found.
