I will paint love every day. From the sky collect my blue, and from the sun- the yellow color. And the red- from sunsets past. The green- hidden in the grass. Flies my soul in violet. I will take silver from the moon. I will collect the gilding from the stars.

Ivan Gotsev is a Bulgarian artist who has exhibited widely. It was a love of people and nature that inspired him to become an artist and create personal abstract paintings. Although mainly using oil on canvas, Gotsev does not limit the scope of his creativity and sometimes includes textiles and other materials in his works. He describes his artistic process as a constant attempt to strike a balance between a spontaneous and rational approach.
