About this artwork
This is a symbolic image in which I draw attention to what we can hear through the walls of our homes and how random sounds or words can affect our imagination. A three-dimensional, relief made of overlapping layers of orange-brown paint creates a background for legible, graphic images, which together create a surprising compositional arrangement. Izabela Rudzka is an experienced artist based in Poland whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Denmark, Italy, and Germany. She describes the mission of her artistic practice as being to convey the power of synergy in a comprehensive human cognition of the surrounding world and to promote the common beginning of science and art in this cognition. Rudzka's distinctive style fuses impressionism with post-impressionism and abstraction.
