About this artwork
This painting is inspired by maps and satellite photos of places in the world that are important to me. My painting shows a bird's eye view of the town where the famous Polish painter Leon Wyczółkowski created in my painting interpretation. On the right side of the painting, I painted a series of interiors with the motif of a window and an armchair. Multiple paintings in one painting. I wanted to combine the calm and contemplative nature of the painting…

Izabela Rudzka is an experienced artist based in Poland whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Denmark, Italy, and Germany. She describes the mission of her artistic practice as being to convey the power of synergy in a comprehensive human cognition of the surrounding world and to promote the common beginning of science and art in this cognition. Rudzka's distinctive style fuses impressionism with post-impressionism and abstraction.
