About this artwork
This painting is inspired by maps and satellite photos of places in the world that are important to me. My painting shows a bird's eye view of the town where the famous Polish painter Leon Wyczółkowski created in my painting interpretation. On the right side of the painting, I painted a series of interiors with the motif of a window and an armchair. Multiple paintings in one painting. I wanted to combine the calm and contemplative nature of the painting… motifs of the window with the dynamics of an abstract composition inspired by a satellite map.
« I keep a distance from the chaos of the world and the rush of everyday life, in order to go beyond the reality around us with my art. »

Rudzka's distinctive style fuses impressionism with post-impressionism and abstraction.
