Deconstruction no. 2 is acrylic painted on panel. He is showing the figures, a male and female, their forms broken down, clear inspiration from cubism but their physical breakdown is only a metaphor for the breakdown in their relationship. Even though the two figures are placed next to each other they are lost in their own thoughts and drifting into their environment.

Jack Avetisyan is an Armenian-American artist whose paintings display various distinctive identities.
