About this artwork
Acrylic on canvas, mix of abstract, figurative and symbolic elements.
Our perception of something is colored by our past experiences, feelings and thoughts. Perspective is the angle or direction in which a person looks at something or scenario. Putting ourself in other’s perspective always changes the perception of life. Question is, are you willing to put your perception aside to experience life from a new perspective?

« For me art is about taking my personal experiences, thoughts and interior monologues and creating visual experiences that in turn will open up a new world of imagination and experience for the viewer. »
Jack Avetisyan is an Armenian-American artist whose paintings display various distinctive identities. His style oscillates between cartoons and abstract compositions, often combining the two into a single piece. His subjects are business people, worldly young adults, old-school sophisticates, who are typically self-satisfied and reeking of financial and social success. His characters occupy an unruly yet elegant a world of drips, darting lines, and swaths of paint.
