I created this artwork with an explosion of vibrant colors to capture the lively energy of a peaceful harbor. Each stroke expresses the joy and freedom that nature inspires in me, inviting you to dream and experience the present moment. This digital landscape will bring dynamic light and an atmosphere full of life and movement to your home.
By constructing vivid, colorful, subjective images like musical notes, I transform the realities of our universe… to inspire the viewer with a strong and unusual emotional response.
Jacques Tanguy, a scientist by training, uses acrylic on linen canvas to develop his compositions and establish his color harmonies. He then continues his work on a computer, integrating digital techniques applied to the posterization of tones. He transforms his colors from strong to calm, dark to light, to respect the subtle play of light. His sensitivity to color combinations also impacts figurative forms with touches of abstraction that spread like musical notes. This is how he creates "digital variations" that combine painting and computer technology. His art vibrates with emotions, arousing in the viewer a sparkling visual poetry clearly identifiable in his numerous articles published in the specialized press and in his reference book published by Editions Ulisse on "the mastery of color."
