About this artwork
Dreaming of freedom during the COVID pandemic whilst living behind closed doors. The materials used were all from leftover materials from previous sculptures or things found on the studio shelves, the edition of six was because I only had six wooden bases. I was given a bucket of iron filings back in the late 80s and a bag of lambswool, the two seem worlds apart. All they needed was a ladder.

Jamie Andrews is British multimedia artist currently living in Suffolk. His work explores several genres - landscape, portrait, religious, political, social and satirical. His inspiration to become an artist stems from his family, particularly his father who was an art dealer, leading him to playfully draw, opening a whole new world of visual communication.
