Jan Weiss is an American artist who creates a wide range of works, including abstract landscapes, modern designs and works with a clear activist influence. Working principally in acrylics, Weiss starts a painting with an idea, and sometimes a drawing, but more often than not the painting will end up looking completely different from how she first imagined it.
