About this artwork
This is a plein-air painting of a clematis flower. Jana started painting this in her backyard on site, and finished up in her studio. This original pastel and watercolor painting by Jana R. Johnson, is on 12x12 inch gallery wrapped canvas that's been sealed with diluted PVA size and an Acrylic Matte Varnish. The background painting continues around and covers the 1 1/2 inch edges. It has wire attached to the back so it's all ready to hang. To care…
for it, you just need to give it a light dusting every now and then. The light watermark on the image is just in the photograph of the painting, and not on the actual artwork.
