About this artwork
"Relocation Necessary" is a painting about the deep impact a specific place, or environment can have on us. It's about that special place that moved you so deeply that you feel changed. Now you cannot continue with the life you had before, because that place seems to call out to you, and it becomes necessary to relocate and move to the place the speaks so deeply to you.
This painting is done in acrylics and oil on canvas, and will be shipped rolled… up in a tube. It has no support frame at the back, and is not framed. But either these options are possible at extra cost and different shipping arrangements.

« Artists have the opportunity to delve deep within themselves when creating, thus presenting the viewer with something that will not just touch the cognitive, but will also touch the heart. »
Janna Prinsloo is a South African artist who has exhibited widely both nationally and internationally. Prinsloo was raised in a family of artists making her passion for art instinctive and fundamental. Her paintings release a real sense of optimism and hope as Prinsloo seeks to explore innermost human feelings. Oil on board is Prinsloo's favourite medium as this enables her to create texture and depth. All of her paintings include a focal figure surrounded by an abstract colour field, as a result her art has an entrancing and personal quality.
