Au nord est de La Palma se trouve la réserve naturelle de lauriers géants de Los Tilos. Cette partie de l’île est plus humide que la
partie ouest. Les arbres se sont recouverts de granulosités et de
mousse qui rend leur écorce verte et marron, ce que nous constatons
sur cette image, ainsi qu’une feuille recroquevillée sur le pourtour
de cette écorce.
