About this artwork
In Western philosophy, Nietzsche marks a break
with the old categorical systems, by its positions
perspectivists in matters of civilizational commentary.
I did the same thing when arriving at the Col des Tentes, in
the Hautes Pyrénées, near Gavarnie, by carrying out a
shot of the sun breaking through the morning fog. Afterwards
by working with the instruments of my time, namely the
image editing software, in order to create these “variations”…
of the same shot with a chromatic choice always
different.
As the Greek philosopher Heraclitus said: “One does not bathe
never twice in the same river. »
Jean-Luc Bohin, with his camera since adolescence, ventures between rigorous naturalism and digital creation. He brilliantly juggles between on-site capture and software restructuring, flirting with abstraction. His works exude a sense of wonder, exploring “behind the scenes of the universe”.
