About this artwork
With this work of art illustrating a single tree in the landscape, JL Lacroix highlights deforestation on the continents. We also have the impression, in the sky, that something is wrong... Global warming? In any case, as an artist, he emphasizes here the importance of preserving nature in all its beauty and, thus, the survival of animals, birds and the diversity of insects that inhabit it. The painting does not leave the viewer indifferent.
