About this artwork
Acrylic painting on canvas 40 x 30 cm. Abstract landscape created thanks to a subtle mixture of multiple levels of colors and scraping of the canvas, to reflect the deep blues and revive the lands of Siena.
The artist likes to immerse himself in the transparency of colors, in ceaseless search for new nuances. He then delicately grinds the canvas and then the pumice so that the layers reappear one by one to obtain the desired effects and complete… the contrasts.
Two coats of anti-UV varnish were applied.
Table ready to hang. Signed "JlL" lower right. Certificate of authenticity.
