About this artwork
Allegro is the first of three new works in my Concerto series in which I explore emotion through colour and movement, by using a red pastel which feels raw and immediate against dark, but powerful and brooding tones. Each piece suggests a different pace of feeling, from restless energy to something slower and more reflective.
