About this artwork
This is very expressive and emotional figure exploration with my study of black and white imagery contrasting and blending into a spectrum of color. It reflect the times of today, the layers we see and the effects of our constrains. I enjoy the elegance of the pose and the colors overlaying in her hair. Many images accent and lay a foundation for the expressive oil stick strokes around the central image.
This artwork is finished on a wood panel,… painted and ready to hang without any additional need for another frame. A wood cleat is affixed to the panel and will have a corresponding wall cleat to help you mount on your wall with ease. The dimension is as stated, 36" x 36" 92cm x 92cm.
