About this artwork
In this work, I've channeled the complexities of communication and the nuanced chaos within silence. Employing acrylics, the abstract forms and minimalistic approach capture metaphors for obscured voices and unspoken words. Through a symbolic interplay of lines and textures, this painting evokes a profound contemplation on the layers of human expression. It's an invitation to explore the quiet power and enigmatic beauty that lies within restrained…
articulation.
Word "Invisible" is 9-letters word and it is repeated in the manner "one letter per number" and distributed across the canvas following the sudoku rule where one nuber cannot be repeated within the same row, same column or same 3x3 square.
This piece is a statement of presence and an energetic whisper, bringing a thought-provoking ambience to any space.

« Aesthetics and intellect are the most powerful ways of communication »
Icelandic painter Jelena Antic's work has been exhibited throughout Serbia, Iceland, and the United States. Antic works in acrylic and sometimes spray paint to create series inspired by subjects ranging from the Icelandic glacial rivers to metaphysics. Antic paints very quickly, so she often works in diptychs so she can continue working on the same idea while the paint of the first work dries. Antic's works are bright, conceptual, and often involve abstract patterns.
