Limited edition series of 30 in collaboration with the Wassaic Project; 10 available. It "reads" as a photograph, although its method of creation is entirely virtual - there is no "real" object or camera, but there are "virtual" ones. Jessye McDowell is an artist based in the United States whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in France. Fascinated by the affects of technology on humans, she creates representations of the “natural” world through entirely digital means, which include three-dimensional modeling and rendering. McDowell's distinctive landscapes and still lifes convey the "slipperiness between how real and object-like the images seem and the completely virtual method of their creation".
