About this artwork
In creating this digital panorama, I've juxtaposed the serene tranquility of a snowy mountain landscape against an exuberant burst of fireworks. The contrasting elements evoke a sense of awe and celebration within nature's embrace. This artwork symbolizes the merging of stillness and spectacle, inviting the viewer to ponder the beauty of quiet moments amidst life's vibrant occurrences. It will infuse any space with a balance of reflection and exhilaration.

« My work explores how technology influences perception, experience, and expression. By creating fantastical worlds and objects, I reflect upon our own. »
Jessye McDowell is an artist based in the United States whose paintings have been exhibited nationally and in France. Fascinated by the affects of technology on humans, she creates representations of the “natural” world through entirely digital means, which include three-dimensional modeling and rendering. McDowell's distinctive landscapes and still lifes convey the "slipperiness between how real and object-like the images seem and the completely virtual method of their creation".
