About this artwork
I designed this work as a tribute to the collage artist Christiane Peugeot, granddaughter of the manufacturer, during the exhibition dedicated to her at the "Espace Christiane Peugeot" in 2021 shortly before the closure of her workshop. A few artists were invited to draw from her collection of carefully cut papers stored in numerous binders, to reinvent in their own way, "in the style of Christiane Peugeot" an original work.
With this collage proposal… with futuristic motifs, I sought the tension between structure and chaos through clear geometric lines and overlays, inviting the viewer to experience the dynamic play of light and shadow.

JLP, a pharmacist by training who became a collector and gallery owner, explores painting, drawing, collage, photography, and digital art. He adopts hybrid techniques combining abstraction, fantasy, and humor, leaving room for chance, the absurd, and intuition to guide his gesture.
