About this artwork
This work, born from a page of 'People' magazine, is inspired by the insignificance of this tabloid press. The formless painting, thrown like waste onto the canvas, invites us to rethink the value of waste.

JLP, a pharmacist by training who became a collector and gallery owner, explores painting, drawing, collage, photography, and digital art. He adopts hybrid techniques combining abstraction, fantasy, and humor, leaving room for chance, the absurd, and intuition to guide his gesture. His works convey a free and spontaneous energy, inviting the viewer to contemplate beauty in chaos and to welcome the unexpected with lightness and wonder.
