This was taken with my Nikon camera in Vienna .In this piece, I captured the timeless dance between shadow and light, evoking nostalgia through analogue black-and-white photography. The horse-drawn carriage framed by intricate gates invites viewers to step into a quiet moment suspended in history. I aimed to bring a sense of mystery and calm energy that will ignite your space with poetic reflection and a connection to the past. The photo will be… printed on photographic paper with an additional 5 cm white border to allow for a signature bottom right and a number bottom left. It will be sent in a tube with a certificate of authenticity.
« My paintings are very personal and reflect whatever goes on in my life at the time. For me, it has been a life long journey into the soul. »
Jo Tuck’s art reflects the life she lives, the journeys she has undertaken, and changes to embody the events in her experience. The painter and photographer is inspired by color, as well as the modern art movement in Europe in the early 20th century. Tuck’s works range from abstract to figurative, from realist to surrealist. She primarily creates using oil on canvas.
