About this artwork
For me, Gift is a work about power, control, and self-dramatization. The model holds a crystal ball toward the camera—almost like a modern oracle. The gesture appears confident, almost challenging.
I deliberately worked with light and shadow to create graphic tension. The clear edges in the background contrast with the woman's organic presence.
For me, the sphere symbolizes not only a reflection of the world, but also the question: Who is actually… holding whom in their hand?
Gift is part of a series in which I capture modern femininity and strength in stylized, timeless imagery. It's an invitation to reflect—on power relations, perception, and what we want to show.
