In "Dystopia of Luck," I sought to capture the tension between calm and chaos through the layering of vibrant textures and colors. The contrast between electric blue and earthy shades generates an internal movement that invites reflection. In the center, a light blue square rises like an unexpected chance event: a symbol of uncertain destiny that bursts forth in the midst of a landscape filled with light and shadow. Each stroke conveys that unsettling… energy and, at the same time, offers a haven of serenity, filling the space with mystery and depth. The work suggests that even fortune, when dystopian, can be tinged with beauty and contradiction.
Joaquín Acevedo is a visual artist whose work stems from a fundamental principle: to think and explore like a child.
