About this artwork
In this piece, a red leg-like length extends down from a creamy turquoise disk, not unlike a town's water tower. Looking carefully, there are threads of graphite extending up from the tower to the sky. In my studio practice, I work across drawing, sculpture and photography, often moving fluidly between them. I’m drawn to the quiet power of materials—their weight, fragility, texture, and resistance—and how these qualities shape a viewer’s physical…

I aim to create encounters that invite a heightened attentiveness—experiences that stir physical empathy and curiosity through shifts in scale, rhythm, and form.
