About this artwork
This work was born from a desire to explore golden oil pastels. I first applied a base of acrylic paint, then layered different coats of dry and oil pastels. Once the ochre tones were blended with my fingers, the oil pastels were used to structure the composition, giving the color a luminous vibrancy.
The floral theme is rendered in more vibrant strokes, suggesting volumes, energizing the surface, and infusing the whole with movement. The result… is a nature awakened, almost animated.
As is often the case in my work, the interplay between reality, dreams, and nature opens the door to multiple interpretations. The viewer can thus oscillate between a reading imbued with the divine and a more fantastical vision. Nature, considered both as a space of fascination, becomes here a place of creation—and recreation.

Between abstraction and the evocation of reality, my works explore how matter, color, and gesture can convey experiences rather than fixed representations. Nature is omnipresent, not as a descriptive subject, but as a language. It becomes flow, vibration, and space.

INNER LIGHT brings together luminous works in which floral forms are simplified to create living compositions, capable of engaging with contemporary spaces while retaining a strong pictorial identity.
INNER LANDSCAPES explores landscapes as interior spaces in motion. Nature is suggested through fluid structures. Each work becomes a mental territory, between memory and perception.
More conceptual in nature, STATES OF BECOMING explores the process of transformation of form. The works capture intermediate states between appearance and dissolution.
