About this artwork
This work is imbued with a sense of presence, remaining gentle thanks to its shades of blue and mauve, and the evanescence of the floral motif. Closer observation, however, reveals a more graphic foliage in the foreground than usual. Despite the apparent calm, the stems twist, even break. The interlacing reflects our emotions, a certain unease. This is why I loved creating this painting: it reflects what art manages to capture in a world that eludes…
us. The texture further enhances the mood of the painting, adding complexity. Without being rushed, the brushstrokes anchor the painting like a desire to write about uncertain times.

Between abstraction and the evocation of reality, my works explore how matter, color, and gesture can convey experiences rather than fixed representations. Nature is omnipresent, not as a descriptive subject, but as a language. It becomes flow, vibration, and space.

INNER LIGHT brings together luminous works in which floral forms are simplified to create living compositions, capable of engaging with contemporary spaces while retaining a strong pictorial identity.
INNER LANDSCAPES explores landscapes as interior spaces in motion. Nature is suggested through fluid structures. Each work becomes a mental territory, between memory and perception.
More conceptual in nature, STATES OF BECOMING explores the process of transformation of form. The works capture intermediate states between appearance and dissolution.
