About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to explore a palette of warm nocturnal scenes, seeking to create a dialogue between twilight and colored light. A first layer of fluorescent pink was applied to the upper part of the canvas to create an underlying reverberation effect, diffusing a subtle glow through the layers of paint.
I then combined this tone with other warm shades, punctuated with touches of blue that enrich the contrasts and deepen the atmosphere. The… voluptuousness of the flowers emerges from a broad, light gesture, executed in oil, which lends the composition movement and delicacy.
This work evokes an atmosphere that is both gentle and slightly chaotic, like an attempt to give form to our inner turmoil without altering its poetry. It suggests an intimate chaos, calmed by the freedom of gesture, where tensions are transformed into a sensitive harmony.
