About this artwork
I originally intended 'Jacobs Angel' to be a study for a larger work, but as with most artists, i'm often inclined to get a little carried away in the experience. The end result quite often contains a lot more information than was necessary and the finished painting becomes an artwork that stands up on its own merit.
