About this artwork
My work often has a religious or spiritual element to it that is sometimes suggested through a subtle pictorial reference, or hinted at through the visual narrative. Other times this spiritual aspect is obvious, as in the case of this particular image, and there is nothing more that I want to convey, other than an image of serenity and calm with angels in repose.
