About this artwork
With this work, I sought to capture the elegance and power of dance, fusing meticulous realism in the figure with geometric forms that lend rhythm and an almost hypnotic depth, inviting us on a journey into the unknown and suggesting that art and movement are vehicles for reaching higher states of being, far removed from the everyday. Working on a wooden support provided a solid foundation that allowed me to play with the contrasts between the dancer's…
deep gray and the neon violet and orange tones. This chromatic explosion symbolizes the energy and passion released when the body is liberated through art. The layers of geometric frames act as portals enveloping the protagonist, representing the different dimensions of freedom. I wanted to convey that powerful vibration that occurs when technique and emotion align perfectly in a single instant.
