About this artwork
I was working with loosely drawn stylised images. The ink is a water base ink, which behaves much different than the oik base inks. I wanted to capture the brightness and the feeling of spring. Many of the prints in this edition vary a little bit, rather than being absolutely identical. The split fountain pieces are similar in this way.
