About this artwork
Using charcoal, I captured the raw, powerful emotions behind a glance. This semi-abstract, figurative representation reveals both vulnerability and strength.
The drawing was intended to be captivating and emotional through the combination of reduction and intense facial features.
I outlined the face and neck with a few, quick, and expressive lines. I wanted to emphasize the expressiveness with the fluid and slightly exaggerated contour lines.
… The body is only hinted at, with a single, curved line for the shoulders and the beginning of the décolleté, which is intended to draw the focus entirely to the face.
This drawing is intended to reveal the depth of personality and brings a dynamic, captivating energy to any room. It is an expression of intensity and inner conflict that captivates the viewer.
