About this artwork
In the second work, the viewpoint descends. The body is no longer a shadow but matter: flesh appears, breath is suggested by the bubbles, and there is contact with the seabed. I introduce organic elements—algae, rocks—that anchor the scene and create a tension between the human and the natural. The light becomes more diffuse, more enveloping, and the scene acquires an almost intimate quality.
