2025 REPAINT-DRYING, SHIPS JULY 2025
This painting is dedicated to my beloved 12 year old French Bulldog, Warhol, who very recently spent time in the emergency vet's intensive care unit due to a freak accident. We nearly lost him which in turn churned up more emotion than I cared to experience and especially after the passing of my other soul-tied Frenchie, Frankie, a few months earlier. Once it became clear that his recovery was certain all of… that uncontrolled emotion just poured onto the canvas creating a mighty oil-stacked joie de vivre. The composition is filled with vivid, almost Fauvist color, joyous movement and delightful, natural form. This work hearkens the purest of emotions and beckoning the viewer to experience my passionate jubilation.
