Jonas Eideloth's sculptures made of fine marble combine urban expressiveness with classic stone sculpture.
The figures form themselves out of hard stone and break out towards freedom. The sculptures are worked individually from rough blocks using a hammer and chisel. Partly raw stone surfaces stand in contrast to the finely worked out, soft looking figures.
Jonas Eideloth's sculptures represent fundamental values such as individualism and freedom… and the opportunity for everyone to go their own way of life.

Jonas Eideloth is a German draftsman and sculptor who has exhibited his works nationally, in Italy, and Spain. As an artist, he advocates for the freedom of the individual. In Eideloth's compositions, the people create themselves, they emerge on paper, break out of hard stone and urban dirt, forming into independent people. He utilizes symbols to represent the paths of life, as a statement of freedom. He creates using ink and graphite on paper, as well as stone and marble.
