About this artwork
In this work, I explored a darker, more interior space, traversed by an almost incandescent luminous presence. The material was built up in depth, between veils, erasures, and emergences.
An orange vertical form disrupted the balance, like a vibrant energy at the heart of a quieter landscape. I searched for a passage within it, a tension between restraint and momentum.
This painting is part of my research around the inner landscape, where light… does not illuminate everything, but appears in fragments — like an ember that persists.
