About this artwork
With this series we have tried to search through a synecdoche for analogies with sensuality and eroticism, but seen in their most descriptive aspects. Kiss cactus beautifully shows the aggressiveness of some kisses that, despite their gentle touch, leave us with an unpleasant itchy sensation. There are whispering kisses, kisses that remain in the air, kisses that leave their mark, kisses that are where you stay, cold kisses like death, kisses to… desserts, meaningless kisses, kisses that fill us inside.
« I deeply believe that contemporary art is autopoietic and draws on its own languages and ways of expressing itself. »
