About this artwork
In this work, I explored duality and balance through a minimalist and abstract collage. The combination of textures and sober shapes embodies a meditation on simplicity and enigma. Each fragment and each dark or light tone are a whisper of contained emotions and unspoken thoughts, inviting the viewer to lose themselves in their own introspection. This work not only seeks to decorate a space, but also aims to transform it into a sanctuary of peace…

My work is based on the transformation of the forgotten and discarded. As an artist based in Valencia, Spain, I have spent decades exploring the boundaries of painting, and in recent years I have discovered a powerful new language in abstract collage. I am drawn to materials with a history: old papers, industrial remnants, fragments of cardboard; each with its own silent narrative. Through a process that balances chance and precision, I integrate these elements into layered compositions, where texture and materiality evoke the geological and the organic.
Sustainability is fundamental to my practice. By rescuing and reusing materials, I seek to raise awareness about our relationship with nature and the everyday objects we often overlook. My collages are not mere visual explorations; they are meditations on memory, transformation, and the beauty found in what others discard.
