About this artwork
This pieces takes me back to my childhood in Honduras. I was born and lived there till the age of ten... We had land in the mountains, the rain forest, and would travel up there first in my dad's truck and then on horseback where the truck could no longer go. We would collect the produce from the family that took care of the finca, and then would bring it back into the city. Once at home, we would settle in after dinner, and watch Mexican Lucha Libre…
