About this artwork
Ink Brush Drawing 17 is about working quickly to music in a spontaneous, mindless head space. Here I enjoyed playing with shapes and lines from the life model, in the moment. I built the picture with layers applied with brushes and pencils. I am influenced by the body and patterns in Nature. My long years of figure drawing practice, allow me the freedom to express my emotions and enjoy the process.
