Second Thoughts is one of only a few remaining figurative works available from the artist's portrait painting years of 2000 - 2016. This painting is a 'mood portrait' where the viewer is invited to ponder what the model is thinking about.
The painting is professionally framed in a dark brown 'distressed look' wooden frame with a gold insert specifically selected to compliment the painting. The painting is wired and ready to hang with framed dimensions… of 24" x 20" x 1.5"
The work has been painted from a live model and created using professional oil paints on double-primed canvas. It has been sealed with Gamblin Gamar varnish for UV protection. The painting, signed on the front and back, will be sent with a certificate of authenticity

Joyce Fournier is a painter and sculptor based in Canada whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Italy, Germany, and the United States. Her current pieces are focused on abstract expressionist painting and figurative sculpture. Fournier enjoys the diversity of the two distinctive artistic paths as one is more focused on the representational, while the other is "spontaneous and liberating".
