About this artwork
A reflection on human ambition, on those impossible dreams of steel and concrete that defy the tangible. I am fascinated by how man imagines structures that rise towards the sky, as if trying to touch something beyond his reach. Projects that are sometimes unattainable, but dreamed of with a firmness that knows no limits.
The abstract lines and cranes that remain in this image evoke that unfinished process, trapped between idea and reality, between… desire and matter. The touches of rust and the cold shadows imprint a silent melancholy, a mixture of admiration and skepticism towards these symbols of progress and towards that human obstinacy that so often stumbles in the achievement of its goals.
I wanted to capture that precise moment when the impossible begins to take shape, when the idea begins to solidify. The bridge, with its imposing presence, reminds us that the highest aspirations need deep foundations, like dreams.
