About this artwork
An invented landscape, created from nothing.
A tribute to architecture and what they call visual defects, perspective.
Which helps us to be, move and understand the space.
A passage with a garden that seems to levitate in the desert at sunset.
Classical sculptures welcome and order the image symmetrically.
The symmetry as a resounding form of composition.
A cypress as a symbol of welcome that is forming
Two columns that seem to get… lost in the landscape.
And an architecture with a circular plan, like a temple, in the center of the painting, that comes out of the water of a pond.
This work is the beginning of a work that spread during years in my trip as a painter in which I began to work with classic symbols contained in architecture and sculpture.
Treated and taken out of its context to give them a new dimension, a new scenario where to place them.
