About this artwork
In this work, I have unleashed emotions with powerful acrylic paints, emotions that dance between light and shadow. The abstract forms reflect inner tensions and fantasies.
This abstract original painting playfully combines powerful yellow tones with deep shades of gray, inviting free association.
Through layering, textures, and transparent areas of color, dynamic effects of light and shadow are created – a play between brightness and depth, movement… and stillness. Organic forms, fragmentary figures, and silhouettes appear to emerge from and disappear within the background of color. The work is hand-signed in the lower right corner and comes in a black lacquered wooden frame.
This work is part of the Atelier Edition, a curated selection of earlier studio works.
