In “Garden Heartbeat 1” I paint the vibrant energy of a garden – the pulse that can be felt under every blossom, every leaf and in every breath of wind.
Abstract flower and seed capsules merge into a rhythmic composition of color, movement, and stillness. Organic forms overlap, emerge, and disappear again—like the breath of nature, condensing into layers and structures.
When I paint, I let myself be guided by the memory of this inner garden, which… is both wild and harmonious. This creates a space that invites wonder – a picture of growth, change, and the quiet awe at the abundance of life.
The highly pigmented oil paints and the glossy dammar resin varnish give the work luminosity and depth.
Bonus: The artwork comes with a natural wood shadow gap frame. This shows minimal signs of wear but is a beautiful addition and provides protection. The frame can be removed from the back using four screws.
