About this artwork
Armfuls of vibrant, sweet smelling, colourful flowers on a day filled with the promise of spring. A bronze background adds a striking, warm note against bold red, hot pink, orange and white. A bright pink wallpaper blossom adds a funky touch.
This work has two sets of D rings and wire for your choice of vertical or horizontal hanging (see in situ images). The pattern continues around all sides so there is no need to frame. On the back you will find… my signature, initials, title and year. It is registered on the NRAA (National Registry for Australian artists) .The work comes with details of the registration and a Certificate of Authenticity.

Beyond the Expected
I create structural walI-based works that transform the picture plane into tactile, spatial forms. Neither painting nor sculpture alone, they respond to changing light, revealing shifting rhythms that enrich the experience of a space
Julee Latimer is a UK-born artist based in Melbourne. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Art in Sculpture and Painting from Curtin University (Perth, 2019).
Her work is held in private and permanent collections internationally, including Hotel Capella (Sydney), Hotel Conrad Orchard (Singapore), and the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab (Chicago, USA).
She has also been recognised as a finalist in several prestigious Australian art prizes.
Through an investigative approach, her practice contributes to ongoing discourse around material transformation and the evolving boundaries of contemporary art.
