About this artwork
The tapestries of the Pine Tree Collection are all based on pictures of pine trees made by me during my walks around Florence and in Tuscany. The Mediterranean pine tree, so characteristic for this area, is one of my favourite trees due to the wonderful forms of the branches and treetops.
