About this artwork
“Devotion”, 11x14, oil on wood panel. The artist very rarely does portraits, and almost never from photos, but this one of her friend with her cute little pup just tugged at the heartstrings, and the painting practically painted itself. The artist was struck by the gentleness of the pose, the delicacy of the pastel color scheme, and the seeming love and devotion between the two. She hopes you enjoy looking at it as much as She did painting it!
